What to know about Aniekeme Inyang

My name is Aniekeme Inyang pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design at the University of North Texas. Over the past four years, I have gained various skills that ensure my success in the fashion industry including: patternmaking, fit testing, industrial sewing, concept development, trend research, fabric sourcing, to name a few. Interning for Collina Strada built up these skills, as well as customer relations, prepping a collection for fashion week,
sample production and product marketability.

I am heavily inspired by my Nigerian culture and it reflects in my designs. My aesthetic is the contemporary Nigerian who is very in tune with their roots and ethnic styles. As such, creating sportswear that echo my background is my specialty. My best technical skills includehand illustration and CAD, patternmaking and construction.

I am a team player and a fast learner. Being very detail oriented, I often spend a lot of time perfecting my work because I believe in quality over quantity to make fashion sustainable.

Feel free to contact me for any additional questions you may have about my work or any opportunities you may have with your company. Thank you!
